The rules for using this site
General information only. Nothing here is tax, legal, or financial advice.
What this site is
Gridsense publishes general information about how federal, state, and utility energy programs work, and offers to review a homeowner's situation and make an introduction to a solar company serving their area.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is tax, legal, financial, or engineering advice, and nothing here creates a professional relationship of any kind. Tax positions depend on facts we do not know about you. Confirm your own situation with a qualified tax professional before you rely on any of it.
Accuracy and dates
Statements about federal law describe our understanding as of the date shown on the page. This area of law changed substantially in 2025 and 2026 and may change again. Statutory references include Public Law 119-21 (the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed 4 July 2025) and Internal Revenue Code sections 25D and 48E. State and utility programs are administered independently and vary.
Introductions to solar companies
If we introduce you to a solar company, that company is an independent business. We do not perform installations, we do not set their prices, we do not guarantee their work, and we are not a party to any agreement you sign with them. Verify any contractor's license and insurance before you sign anything — we encourage it.
We may be compensated by a solar company for an introduction. That does not change what we tell you on this site.
No guarantee of savings
Any figures describing payback periods, savings, or credit values are general illustrations, not projections for your home. Your outcome depends on your utility, your rate schedule, your roof, your usage, the equipment installed, and the terms you sign.
Your submissions
Give us accurate information and do not submit anyone else's contact details. Use of this site to send unsolicited commercial messages, scrape content, or interfere with its operation is not permitted.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Rebel Video LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or from any dealings with a company we introduce you to.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
